After completing a lot of the HTML section of Code Academy, and Learn CSS along with How to Make a Website, I learned a lot about coding! I had never done any sort of coding or really knew exactly what it was before this. I actually really enjoyed it. The way I thought of it was like a lego set where you have to follow all of the steps and instructions to get the end result. I love following steps, it is concrete for me and makes me feel accomplished when I have completed all of the steps in the process. I was able to use my knowledge of coding from what I learned in one of the DS106 assignments where I used the x-ray goggles on my browsers. I thought it was so fun to put what I know to test. Even though I probably wont use coding again in my lifetime, I am glad I was tasked to complete this assignment because I learned a lot and I am able to walk away having new knowledge and had fun doing so! Maybe along the road I will use my coding skills to create a website for my classroom.
